首先来看配置，27寸iMac旗舰机型的基本配置为Core i5-750 2.66GHz处理器（Turbo Boost频率3.2GHz），4GB DDR3内存，1TB 7200rpm硬盘，Radeon HD 4850 512MB GDDR3显卡，27寸2560x1440分辨率LED背光液晶屏幕，8x吸入式DVD刻录机，售价为1999美元。而自选配置定制机型则升级到Core i7-870 2.8GHz处理器（Turbo Boost频率3.46GHz），支持HT超线程技术，售价2199美元。
