FitBit是刚刚开始在美国市场发售的一个健身产品，售价99美金。这是一个能别在衣服上、装在钱包里的小工具，内置一个行为探测器，能跟踪一个人所有的动作。按下Fitbit上面一个小按钮，就能看见一个蓝色LED显示屏。你每迈出一步，每变换一个姿势，这个显示屏就会相应计算你的运动量、燃烧的热量、行动的距离，并且计算出你运动的量级。

Fitbit通过一个内置软件，能把所有数据都自动上传进计算机，并且可以联网查看。Fitbit跟计算机通过一个无线USB接口实现连接，只要FitBit在计算机10米以内，就能自动进行数据传输。用户可以在计算机里输入自己的年龄、体重、高度、性别等基本信息，就可以看到Fitbit对运动量的综合评估和运动建议。并且，所有数据都按照时间区分开，也许Fitbit会告诉你：你在早上10点-12点活动量太大，而在下午2-6点活动量又太少。如果你输入自己每一顿的食物，那Fitbit又会自动计算，然后告诉你：运动量是否合适，是否有利于你减肥或者增肥。

有趣的是，如果你在睡觉时也戴上Fitbit，它会跟踪你身体的每一个动作、翻身、还是静止。从而告诉你要用多少时间才能入睡，大概在几点入睡，在夜里翻了几次身，醒来了几次。
