JBL 12" Refoam Kit.

This kit will fit the JBL 2214H and 2214H-1 woofer.  Before ordering, remove a woofer from your speaker cabinet and make sure it is a 2214H or 2214H-1.

JBL Cabinet Models for this kit:  L100T, L100T3, XPL200, XPL200A and 4425.

 

 

Each Refoam Kit includes all the materials needed
to repair two (2) woofers:

 

 

• Refoaming Instructions
• 2 Angled Foam Surrounds (F12-5)
• Shims For Centering Voice Coils
• Two 3.2" Paper Dust Caps
• 1 Bottle of Specially Formulated Foam Surround Adhesive (Dries Clear)
• 1 Bottle of Black Dust Cap Glue (To retain the original JBL look)

*It can be very difficult to refoam a speaker without removing the dust cap and inserting the plastic shims.  The plastic shims are used to center the voice coil and cone assembly while the speaker is being refoamed.  JBL woofers have a very tight voice coil gap which leaves little room for error.  If you do not use the plastic shims, the voice coil may be off center and it may lead to the voice coil rubbing.

We are a JBL authorized service center and use these parts everyday.
